Cookie notice

Effective from: September 7, 2026

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small data file stored in the visitor's browser, placed by the website or by a service it uses. The website also uses browser-side storage similar to cookies (localStorage), as described below.

2. Storage necessary for operation

The website places no cookies necessary for operation on visitors. A single setting is stored in the browser's localStorage: the decision made about cookie consent (cookie-consent). It cannot identify the visitor and is not transmitted anywhere.

For staff signing in to the administration interface, a session cookie is created in their browser to maintain the login; this does not affect visitors.

3. Statistical cookies (Google Analytics)

With the visitor's prior consent, the website measures traffic with Google Analytics (provider: Google Ireland Ltd.). The measurement uses the _ga cookie and the _ga_<measurement id> cookie (lifetime: 2 years); these identify the visit and the session and are not suitable for direct personal identification.

Without consent, or where consent is declined, the measurement does not start and no statistical cookie is created.

4. Managing consent

On the bar shown when first visiting the website, the visitor may accept or decline the statistical cookies; the decision is stored in the browser. The decision can be changed at any time with the „Reset cookie settings” button at the foot of this page – which also deletes the statistical cookies placed earlier – or by clearing the browser's site data.

Cookies can also be disabled or deleted in the browser's settings; the browser's help pages describe how.

5. Further information

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy notice. For questions, write to info@mercurio.hu.

The button clears your earlier decision and the statistical cookies in your browser; after the page reloads, the consent bar appears again.
